Madaripur Legal Aid Association (MLAA), a pioneering NGO works in the field of legal aid and local justice since 1978. And to strengthen its programme MLAA has set up a library in the Training and Resource Centre. The library has a large collection of books on law, human right, informal justice (such, mediation, alternative dispute resolution), social services, research and law.
It contains approximately 7,700 books and nearly 1400 journals. MLAA, has its own publication and research works on informal justice system which has widened the scope for acquiring knowledge in this niche. The interest grows up as the silence and excellence of the library offers a reading environment. As a result, students and research scholars from various schools of law and universities visit and make good use of it.
Other resource materials include training manuals and modules used by the trainers in imparting different training in the related fields.
